Application Profiles
An application profile is an immutable datastructure using to describe the configuration of a Java Virtual Machine deployment. The datastructure includes the following information:
- codebase URI (e.g. a part artifact or link)
- basedir - the directory under which the virtual machine will be established
- configuration uri - optional overriding configuration uri argument
- startup and shutdown timeout values
- application startup policy (MANUAL, AUTOMATIC, or DISABLED)
- system properties to be supplied to the JVM on creation
- application title
Application profiles may be created using the Station CommandLine Handler and are used in conjuction with the Station management platform during the creation of runtime applications.
